Morphology

Introduction

Triadica sebifera, also known as Chinese tallowtree, is a tree species in the Euphorbiaceae family. Although its fallen leaves have negative effects on amphibians, leading to its classification as an invasive species in the United States, it is a promising energy crop and has potential as a source of medicinal resources[1].
In 2022, Wang assembled the chromosomal-level genome of the Chinese tallowtree, providing new insights into its anthocyanin and fatty acid synthesis[2].
